What deterministic means
It means the calculation is public and predictable. Given the same versioned inputs, the server produces the same result. It does not mean every rare event is guaranteed or that the Order understands the universe correctly.
Two layers that never trade places
The Order’s interpretation is a provisional model. An esva may violate anatomy, causality or classification and still be correct inside the fiction. The server’s arithmetic—damage, cooldown, incidence, containment chance, pity and economic ceilings—must remain auditable.
Observed versus expected
The Field Notebook shows effective odds and expected cost. The expanded Registry separates natural and pity appearances, VIP and non-VIP samples, and expected from observed data with version and period. A probability claim becomes a result players can challenge.
