Clan pools
What Index, Vigil and Root pull, and what the pool does not change.
reviewed 8 August 2026
What it is
Each of the 3 clans has a pool: the set of request types the Institute's draw can pull. Index, Vigil and Root weight different types.
How I do it
Before you startA clan signed The pool only weighs for those in a clan.required
Reading the pool before signing avoids tasks you never do.
- IndexPulls register and measurement: enter in the Register, measure deviation, complete a class in the collection, close a quadrant to catalogue it.in gamePost → Clan
- VigilPulls containment and front line: contain an esva in a high band, hold an incursion, clear a quadrant, hold a Cavern tier.
- RootPulls harvest and upkeep: harvest in the collection, make and use a flask, assemble an apparatus, move items on the Market.
- Check the effect on the drawThe pool changes the weight, not the ceiling: a type outside the pool can still come out, just less often.
What I get — and what it costs
What I get
Aligned drawThe chosen clan's pool starts weighing in the daily, weekly, monthly and mandate draws.Being signed into the clan. It applies from the next draw, and changing pool costs the clan's waiting time.
What it costs
A pool is not a listThe pool says what can come out, not what will. The request is still drawn per account and per day.The pool changes nothing elseNo pool alters containment, what drops from hunting, the Market or the cadence return. It changes the request type, nothing else.
