Cultivation

Explains breeding and incubation in cultivation, what each breeding consumes, and what runs out for good.

What it is

Cultivation is where two of your esvas breed and the resulting egg is incubated. It exists to produce a new esva from parents you already contain.

How I do it

Before you startTwo compatible parents Breeding asks for two of your esvas, one in each cultivation slot.requiredBreeding consumable Each breeding consumes one consumable. Without it, breeding does not start.requiredVigor left in both Each parent needs vigor left over. An esva with no vigor no longer breeds.required

To breed and incubate:

  1. Put both parents into the slotsBoth esvas may come from the party or from the collection.in gameCultivation → Breeding
  2. Confirm and spend the consumableConfirming consumes one consumable and produces the egg.in gameCultivation → Breedingper breeding
  3. Incubate the eggThe egg goes into incubation and, at the end of the process, hatches and delivers the new esva.in gameCultivation → Incubation
  4. Check the vigor that is leftAfter each breeding the vigor of both parents drops. The sheet shows what is left.in gameEsva sheet → Vigorper breeding
In development

What is missing: the name of the breeding consumable and how much vigor each esva starts with

What already holds: every breeding consumes one consumable and part of both parents' vigor, and vigor never recovers

What I get — and what it costs

What I get
Breeding eggAn egg that, once incubated, delivers a new esva carrying inheritance from both parents.Requires two parents with vigor left and one consumable per breeding.
What it costs
Vigor is finite and does not come backEach esva has a vigor reserve that only goes down. Once it hits zero, that esva breeds no more, and nothing recharges it.The consumable is gone on the spotThe consumable is spent at the moment of breeding, one per breeding. The egg is boundThe egg produced stays tied to your account and is not transferable to another player.
