Drift (evolution)
Explains how an esva moves to the next form of its family and which reagent that step consumes.

What it is
The drift is an esva's passage to the next form of its family. Each family has its own stages, and an esva only drifts while there is a stage ahead.
How I do it
Before you startA stage ahead in the family The esva has to belong to a family that still has a next form. One already on the last stage does not drift.requiredThe stage's level gate reached Each stage opens at its own level gate. Below it, the drift stays locked.requiredThe matching reagent in hand The drift consumes the reagent of the esva's class. An esva with deviation consumes the deviation reagent.required
To drift an esva:
- Check the family and the stageThe sheet shows how many stages the family has and which one the esva is on right now.in gameCollection → Esva sheet → Family
- Take the esva to the level gateEach stage opens at its own level. Before that, the drift is not available.
- Set aside the right reagentUse the reagent of the esva's class. If it has deviation, the class reagent does not work: it asks for the deviation reagent.in gameParty → Items
- Confirm the driftConfirming consumes the reagent and swaps the current form for the next one in the family.in gameEsva sheet → Drift
In development
What is missing: the name of the reagent for each of the 13 classes and the name of the deviation reagent
What already holds: every drift consumes one reagent: the esva's class one, or the deviation one when it has deviation
What I get — and what it costs
What I get
The next form of the familyThe esva moves to the next stage and takes on that form's stat line.Requires the stage's level gate and the class reagent, or the deviation one when the esva has deviation.
What it costs
The reagent is consumedEach drift spends one reagent, and it does not come back.Deviation swaps the reagent, not the routeAn esva with deviation follows the same family stages, but only drifts with the deviation reagent. The drift does not touch what is inbornThe form changes; the band and the IVs the esva was born with stay the same.
