Published odds
Which odds ESVA publishes, what each one means, and where to read the live value inside the game.
reviewed 8 August 2026
What it is
ESVA publishes its odds: every chance the game uses has a name and is written on a screen of the game itself, the same for every account. This page says what each odd means. The live value is in the game.
How I do it
Each odd has a name and a place to be read in the Register.
- Deviation appearancethe chance of an appearance coming marked as a deviation instead of the species' common form. It is the odd that decides what shows up in the quadrant.in gameRegister → Odds
- The margin that guaranteesthe counter the game keeps of your attempts which, once full, delivers the result instead of rolling for it. It moves with a recorded attempt, and stays visible next to the odds.in gameRegister → Counters
- Containment chancethe chance of the flask containing the esva on the attempt. It depends on the flask used and on the state of the appearance; the value for each case is on the screen.in gameRegister → Odds
- Dropthe chance of an item falling at the end of the encounter. The list sits in the Register, split by class and by tier.in gameRegister → Odds
In development
What is missing: the odds values and what exactly each margin counter accumulates do not appear on this page.
What already holds: what holds is that ESVA publishes its odds, what each one means, and where to read them: Register → Odds and Register → Counters.
What I get — and what it costs
What I get
The odds by name, and where each one sitsknowing which chance is at play on each screen: deviation appearance, the margin that guarantees, containment and drop.the values are not here: they are read in the game, which is the source.
What it costs
No value herethis page publishes no number; the game screen prevails over any copy from outside.Reading the odd does not change itthe information is the same for every account and does not alter the roll; looking at the screen does not stand in for the attempt. The margin only moves with an attemptthe counter follows a recorded attempt; it does not move by checking or by waiting.
