Graphics
The three presets, the automatic detection by performance and what switching does not change.

What it is
Graphics come in three presets. On opening, the game detects on its own which one your machine holds, from measured performance, and you switch by hand later if you want.
How I do it
How to pick the preset:
- Let the detection runOn opening, the game measures performance and picks one of the three presets. Nothing has to be done for that to happen.
- Switch by handThe automatic choice locks nothing: all three presets stay available in the menu.in gameSystem menu → Graphics
- Drop a preset if the frame stuttersIf performance drops mid-session, dropping a preset is the direct fix, and it applies right away.
- Raise it again when you canRaising it again is just as simple: the switch is reversible and asks for no confirmation.
In development
What is missing: what each preset turns on and off, and how the detection classifies the machine.
What already holds: there are three presets, with automatic detection by performance and manual switching at any time.
What I get — and what it costs
What I get
A preset matched to the machineOne of the three presets, chosen by the performance detection or by you, applied to the session. It costs image: dropping a preset buys performance and takes away detail. Raising it does the opposite.
What it costs
A preset does not change the simulationSwitching preset changes what is shown, not what the game computes. Combat, containment and the Field Notebook rates stay the same. The detection is a starting pointThe automatic choice holds as a starting point, and you switch whenever you want.
