Prestige

What prestige is, what it gives and what it does not touch.

reviewed 8 August 2026

What it is

There is no cycle, no reset and no act of prestiging. When your level hits the cap, the XP that keeps coming feeds a second ladder of 500 levels, which grants 1 point every 5 levels100 points by its end. Points buy nodes on a board of 300: you pick 100 of the 300, and the picking is what draws your path. Nothing here gives direct power — it is convenience, social reach and status.

How I do it

Before you startHaving reached the end of the path Prestige opens at the end of the path, not before. Until then the option stays closed and does nothing.required

How the second ladder runs:

  1. Reach the level capBefore that prestige does not run: all XP goes to the level.in gamePost → Prestige
  2. Keep playingXP above the cap starts climbing the second ladder on its own. There is no button to press.
  3. Spend the points on the boardEvery 5 levels gives 1 point. The board holds 300 nodes and the ladder gives 100 points: the path is the choosing.
In development

What is missing: what each node on the board does, and the screen where it is chosen, are not published.

What already holds: the shape: a second ladder that runs on top of the first, with no reset and no return to the starting point.

What I get — and what it costs

What I get
The second ladderThe mark of the time you have put into the game, and the points it yields. It costs no progress: the second ladder runs on top of the first and nothing is handed back.
What it costs
Direct power: zeroNo node raises damage, a stat or drift chance. What they change is comfort, social reach and what other people see.You do not go back to the startThe second ladder runs on top of the first. You hand back no progress, reset nothing and lose nothing you already have.VIP and party speed it upPlaying with VIP and in a party speeds up the gain on this ladder by up to 37%. It changes neither the cap nor what the nodes do: it changes how fast you reach them.
