The five rates the notebook measures and why going offline drags none of them down.

What it is
The Field Notebook shows five rates measured from your own hunt. Each rate is a count divided by simulation time — the time the game actually ran for you — and not by the wall clock.
How I do it

How to read the notebook:
- Open the notebookThe notebook sits in the Post, alongside the rest of what your account measures.in gamePost → Field Notebook
- Read the five ratesThere are five, all taken from what your hunt produced. Each comes from your own history, not from another player's average.
- Check the divisorThe divisor is simulation time. A clock hour in which nothing was simulated for you does not enter the sum.
- Close the tab without penaltyGoing offline does not dilute your rate. What the simulation ran enters on both sides, numerator and denominator together; what it did not run enters on neither.
- Compare two periods of your ownSince the divisor is the same in any window, two of your own readings are comparable. That is how you see whether a change of party or quadrant moved the pace.

What is missing: the exact labels of the five rates and the window the notebook uses to close each reading.
What already holds: there are five rates from your own hunt and all of them divide by simulation time, not by the clock.
